Disney to change how they accomodate guests with special needs

Disney is reportedly changing the way disabled guests are allowed to access  rides at Disneyland and California Adventure, according to KTLA.

Beginning Oct. 9, visitors to the resort’s two theme parks who present a Disney-issued disability card will no longer be granted immediate, back-door access to rides, a park spokeswoman said, according to the O.C. Register. Continue reading

It’s supposed to be a magical place, but visitors to Disneyland Paris are increasingly disenchanted. Complaints include broken rides, re-heated food with high prices and a dearth of live shows.  And visitors are starting a Disney-rant, according to RFI.

A multilingual petition to Bob Iger asks for Disney’s CEO and top management to do something about the (frankly, pretty terrible) condition of Disneyland Paris, a park I’ve stopped visiting (though it’s closest to me), due to the poor staffing, poor maintenance, bad (and expensive) food and hotels, and large number of out-of-service attractions and shows, according to boing boing. Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner goes to Disneyland with his 27-year old wife

Playboy Magazine Publisher Hugh Hefner, who is 87 years old, was caught hanging out with his Playboy Bunny wife Crystal Harris, 27,  at Disneyland this week, as they rode on twin mobility scooters, according to the Mirror News.

Hefner and Harris tied the knot in a New Year’s Eve ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in 2013, two years after the Playboy model previously called off their first wedding in 2011, according to US Magazine. Continue reading
