Three Kings Day at Disneyland Resort

ANAHEIM, Calif. Dec. 31, 2013 – The Disneyland Resort concludes its Holiday festivities by bringing the Three Kings Day celebration to Disney California Adventure Park, Friday through Monday, Jan. 3-6, 2014. The Three Kings Day tribute marks the grand finale of “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!,” a fun and festive event that has been presented throughout the holiday season with a colorful street party, merry music and traditional Mexican foods.

Three Kings Day, also known as Dia de los Reyes Magos, has been celebrated for generations by the people of Spain, Mexico, Central America and other nations, as part of the Christmas story. White Rabbit lawsuit settled quietly by Disney

Do you remember this story – “A local family filed a lawsuit Monday against Disneyland over claims of racism. In August 2012, Annelia Black and her family took a trip to Disneyland to celebrate her nephew’s birthday. Upon entering the gate, the White Rabbit — a character from “Alice and Wonderland” — greeted the family,” according to ABC 10 News.

The lawsuit was quietly settled this past July, with nary a media peep, according to the OC Weekly. Black family lawyer Daniel Gilleon would only confirm the case was settled, citing a confidentiality agreement. Continue reading
