The Anaheim Police were called out to Downtown Disney to investigate discarded clothing


The Anaheim Police were recently called to Disneyland when a flock of geese pooped on about 40 guests. Apparently they were also called when an unknown object was found in a tree near Downtown Disney the afternoon of Tuesday, June 3, according to the O.C. Register.

The Anaheim police set up a perimeter while they investigated the object, restricting access to some areas near the ESPN Zone.  Continue reading

A man died after jumping off the Mickey and Friends parking structure on Friday morning

An unidentified man jumped to his death off a parking structure near Disneyland Park just past 2 a.m. on Friday, at the Mickey and Friends parking structure located at 1313 S. Disneyland Drive, according to the O.C. Coroner.

The man was taken to the UCI Medical Center, in Orange, where he died at 3:08 a.m. on Friday morning, according to the O.C. Register. Continue reading

JUVENILE CORRECTIONS OFFICER ON FAMILY VACATION TO DISNEYLAND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF COCAINE AND LOADED FIREARM

FULLERTON – A juvenile corrections officer was charged today with possession of cocaine and a loaded firearm after leaving both in a hotel room he checked out of during a family vacation to Disneyland. Robert Dandrea Minor, 51, Hercules, CA, is charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of four years in state prison. The defendant is not in custody and the People will be requesting he be held on $25,000 bail at his scheduled arraignment on July 29, 2015, at 8:30 a.m. in Department N-3, North Justice Center.

SANTA ANA – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) filed new charges against a former amusement park worker for sexually assaulting a fourth minor female victim with new additional charges for the sexual assault of Jane Doe #1. The defendant was previously charged with sexually assaulting Jane Doe #1, a female relative, Jane Doe #2, the 7-year-old daughter of a family friend, and Jane Doe #3, another female relative. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona was charged yesterday, Aug. 28, 2013, with five felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, one felony count of forcible lewd act on a child under 14, one felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one felony count of producing child pornography. SANTA ANA – A man was sentenced today to eight years in state prison and ordered to pay $201,000 in restitution for illegally importing counterfeit collectible Disney pins from China and selling them over the Internet. Larry James Allred, 58, Walnut, pleaded guilty to a court offer to one felony count of trademark infringement with sentencing enhancements for property loss of over $200,000. He has a 1975 prior strike conviction for rape and a 1978 prior strike conviction for kidnapping and rape. Continue reading

WESTMINSTER– Additional charges have been filed against a man for sexually assaulting the 7-year-old daughter of a family friend. The defendant was previously charged with sexually assaulting a female child relative. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona, was charged today for Jane Doe #2 with two felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14 with a sentencing enhancement for sex crimes against multiple victims. He was previously charged for Jane Doe #1 with three felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and three felony counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14. Anast is also charged with one felony count of possession and control of child pornography. If convicted on all counts, he now faces a maximum sentence of 78 years to life in state prison and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration. The defendant is being held on $1 million bail and is expected to be arraigned on the new charges today, July 2, 2013, in Department W-1, West Justice Center, Westminster. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona, is charged with four felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, one felony count of possession and control of child pornography, and a sentencing enhancement allegation for forcible sex crimes. If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum sentence of 63 years to life in state prison and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration. Disney dry ice bomber freed by an Orange County Superior Court Judge

Superior Court Judge Nicholas S. Thompson ordered the man who set off two dry ice bombs at Disney’s Toon Town, 22-year-old Christian Barnes, released on his own recognizance today, according to CBS News.

His bail had previously been set at $1 million dollars.  No one was hurt by the dry ice bombs. Continue reading
