FORMER DISNEYLAND EMPLOYEE SENTENCED FOR ATTEMPTING TO SELL TICKETS IN EXCHANGE FOR SEX WITH MINOR

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A former Disneyland employee pleaded guilty today to a court offer and was sentenced to one year in jail, five years of formal probation, and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration for attempting to sell tickets to Disneyland in exchange for sex with a minor. Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, Adelanto, pleaded guilty to one felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child, one felony count of contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified sex crime, and one felony count of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.

At the time of the crime, Enciso was an employee at the Disneyland Resort.

JUVENILE CORRECTIONS OFFICER ON FAMILY VACATION TO DISNEYLAND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF COCAINE AND LOADED FIREARM

FULLERTON – A juvenile corrections officer was charged today with possession of cocaine and a loaded firearm after leaving both in a hotel room he checked out of during a family vacation to Disneyland. Robert Dandrea Minor, 51, Hercules, CA, is charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of four years in state prison. The defendant is not in custody and the People will be requesting he be held on $25,000 bail at his scheduled arraignment on July 29, 2015, at 8:30 a.m. in Department N-3, North Justice Center.

Minor is a juvenile corrections officer for the Probation Department in San Francisco.

FORMER DISNEYLAND EMPLOYEE CONVICTED OF POSSESSION OF DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE AFTER TWO EXPLOSIONS IN THEME PARK OF WATER BOTTLES CONTAINING DRY ICE

FULLERTON – A former employee of Disneyland was convicted and sentenced today for possessing a destructive device after two water bottles containing dry ice exploded in a Toontown trash bag and vending cart. Christian Isaiah Barnes, 23, Long Beach, pleaded guilty to a court offer to one misdemeanor count of possession of a destructive device. He was sentenced to 36 days in jail, three years informal probation, 100 hours of community service, and ordered to stay away from Disneyland.

At the time of the crime, Barnes was an employee at Disneyland in Anaheim.

The defendant was previously charged with sexually assaulting Jane Doe #1, a female relative, Jane Doe #2, the 7-year-old daughter of a family friend, and Jane Doe #3, another female relative. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona was charged yesterday, Aug. 28, 2013, with five felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, one felony count of forcible lewd act on a child under 14, one felony count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one felony count of producing child pornography.

SANTA ANA – A man was sentenced today to eight years in state prison and ordered to pay $201,000 in restitution for illegally importing counterfeit collectible Disney pins from China and selling them over the Internet. Larry James Allred, 58, Walnut, pleaded guilty to a court offer to one felony count of trademark infringement with sentencing enhancements for property loss of over $200,000. He has a 1975 prior strike conviction for rape and a 1978 prior strike conviction for kidnapping and rape.

WESTMINSTER– Additional charges have been filed against a man for sexually assaulting the 7-year-old daughter of a family friend. The defendant was previously charged with sexually assaulting a female child relative. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona, was charged today for Jane Doe #2 with two felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14 with a sentencing enhancement for sex crimes against multiple victims. He was previously charged for Jane Doe #1 with three felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and three felony counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14. Anast is also charged with one felony count of possession and control of child pornography. If convicted on all counts, he now faces a maximum sentence of 78 years to life in state prison and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration. The defendant is being held on $1 million bail and is expected to be arraigned on the new charges today, July 2, 2013, in Department W-1, West Justice Center, Westminster. The time is to be determined.

WESTMINSTER – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) is seeking the public’s help identifying potential additional victims of a man charged with sexually assaulting a female relative. Bryan William Anast, 45, Corona, is charged with four felony counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, one felony count of possession and control of child pornography, and a sentencing enhancement allegation for forcible sex crimes. If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum sentence of 63 years to life in state prison and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration. The People will request the defendant be held on $1 million bail at his arraignment today, June 24, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in Department W-1, West Justice Center, Westminster.

Disney dry ice bomber freed by an Orange County Superior Court Judge

Superior Court Judge Nicholas S. Thompson ordered the man who set off two dry ice bombs at Disney’s Toon Town, 22-year-old Christian Barnes, released on his own recognizance today, according to CBS News.

His bail had previously been set at $1 million dollars.  No one was hurt by the dry ice bombs.

Disney cast member accused of setting off dry ice bombs pleads not guilty

Christian Barnes, 22, the Disneyland employee accused of setting off two dry ice explosions at the theme park pleaded not guilty on Thursday.

He was charged with a felony count of possession of a destructive device in a public place, according to KTLA News.
