Disneyland to host an Avengers Superheroes Half-Marathon Weekend on Nov. 14-16

RUNNERS ASSEMBLE: AVENGERS SUPER HEROES HALF MARATHON WEEKEND

RunDisney today announced its newest running event: an Avengers half-marathon weekend at the Disneyland Resort in California. The November event will be the third annual running weekend at the Disneyland Resort, joining the Disneyland, according to Theme Park Insider.

Captain America to appear at Disneyland this Spring

In honor of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” coming to theaters April 4, guests at Disneyland park in Anaheim will soon have the opportunity to meet the First Avenger in person. Captain America will be dropping in to Disneyland park starting this spring, where you can also experience continuing favorites Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries and Thor: Treasures of Asgard, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Thor is coming to Disneyland’s Innoventions on November 1

Thor – from “The Avengers” and the upcoming movie “Thor: The Dark World” – is coming to Disneyland park this on November 1!

Astrophysicist Jane Foster, who established a special relationship with Thor, has been studying the “Bifrost,” a cosmic bridge that allows Thor to travel between the Nine Realms, including Earth. She has determined that the Bifrost is set to open again in Southern California and pinpointed the precise location as Innoventions at Disneyland park, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

This summer at Disneyland park, Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries has given us a close-up look at Tony Stark’s Hall of Armor and an opportunity to virtually “suit up” in the Mark 42 armor featured in the blockbuster film, “Iron Man 3.” And we’ve recently learned Captain America will be appearing at Avengers Academy on the reimagined Disney Magic. Soon, we’ll have a chance to meet yet another super hero, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
